MAGA Celebration 2025!!

This year I helped the Bonner County Republicans to celebrate the election of Donald Trump with style.

Their MAGA Celebration (!) fundraiser was themed around having their speaking guests all aboard on the MAGA Trump train.  Let’s all get on the train as we enter into a more positive and conservative political term.

Special guests and speakers at the event included Brent Regan, Bryan Smith, Raul Labrador, and Dorothy Moon.

Creating their portraits for the event was very important to me.  While I wanted them to have some wind blowing through their hair, I also wanted to balance that with respectfulness and not have it feel comedic.

The interior of this program was designed with an aged-out, parchment feel to it.  I wanted it to feel like an old-fashioned railroad menu.  The very small fine print at the bottom was taken from a 1930s railroad directly, although I painstakingly painted it to customize it with more relevant place names and trivia for eagle-eyed attendees.

I created Trump train art and marketing for the event including: event tickets, name badges, programs, web graphics, posters, and social media material.

My goal for this project was to create a very playful and colorful dynamic which was enjoyable to work with.  My focus was on creating a lively and joyful visual shorthand.
